FeiertageDEU provides a comprehensive calculation of all public holidays in Germany, as well as select church-related observances and additional significant dates, such as the start of Daylight Saving Time and the summer solstice. It clearly indicates which holidays are applicable only to specific federal states.

The application covers the years from 1583 to 2800, taking into account the validity of holidays. For instance, the Buß- und Bettag holiday has been observed exclusively in Saxony since 1995.

It is important to note that the information regarding federal states reflects current conditions and does not account for historical changes such as establishment or merger of states.
